I haven't made the time (which is completely different than not having the time) to tidy up and my apartment is the equivalent of a messy kid's room, but on a bigger scale. A simple trip to the pet adoption place to make a donation turned into me being the proud owner of a four month old kitten. LJ isn't letting me post pictures, but she's a tabby kitty that only weighs about three or four pounds. Hat #3 has been finished. It's a seed stitch pattern, and I can tell where I messed up a couple of stitches before getting back on the pattern, but it really isn't noticable.
